Now that we've got that out of the way, you can understand why I'd decided never to return here again.
(Trust me, that's not much of a compliment.) Of course I'm making an assumption by not reviewing their employment history and obtaining birth certificates, but it is my belief that the labor was predominantly of American descent. I love American tacos, but when it comes to 'Mexican food', this was the best meal I've ever had that was prepared by non-Mexicans. For me, that myth was busted today and I did like it. That includes our own Mexican cooking at home.
I firmly believe that Americans don't do it as well. I never like ethnic food unless the employment represents the type of food being served. My recollection was that it was Americanized far more than Tex-mex and therefore I didn't like it.
It's been 4 or 5 years since I ate here at Salsa.
